Stephen Potts | Financial Advisor, Partner

Stephen Potts is a Financial Advisor and Partner at Simmons Investment Advisors. Steve has built a career in financial services that started in 1995 in New York City, in an international branch office working with Latin American and Spanish clients.

In 2007, Steve moved back to Maine, transitioning into the role of Financial Advisor. He focuses on client service and development, while structuring customized portfolios that meet each individual client’s needs, risk tolerance and goals.

Steve graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics and Spanish. He holds the Series 3, 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Steve is an avid runner, and has completed the New York City Marathon three times with a personal best time of 3:17:30. He also volunteers as a youth sports coach (soccer, baseball and running) and recently organized a virtual 5K to raise money for a local food pantry. Steve lives in North Yarmouth, ME with his wife, two kids and two dogs, an English Mastiff named Oso and an English Bulldog named Blue. He and his family (other than Blue and Oso) love CrossFit and work out frequently at their home gym.
